work it
There are millions of ways to fail.
There are billions of ways to perceive ourselves as failures, even when no one else thinks so.
But without failing, there can be no success. Why, then, do we spend so much time being so resistant to failure?
It might be best to heed coach Melissa Ford’s words from her brilliant book, Living Service: The Journey of a Prosperous Coach:
“If you experience your efforts as a series of ongoing failures that confirm your worst fears, then you’re bound to feel defeated and hopeless. You might even give up. So please slow down and really take this in. You’ve heard it before, but it bears repeating:
Failing is required. Your failures are your very own mastery milestones in disguise. Without failure, there is no progress.”
Melissa speaks from experience. She’s spent years slowing down. She’s grown from her mastery milestones. That’s how she’s become a supreme success in her own right.
This is where I’d like to welcome you to my “pinch me” moment…
…Melissa and I have partnered (!) to launch a mastermind called Work It.
